Dave died April 4, 2008. Do you all remember the Dave S Trio? We played at some of the MT Tahoma dances. We also made a record in 1964. I don't think it sold too many copies however, but it was a fun experience.
Remember all those tests we had to take to determine the types of work we might find ourselves liking when we finally got into the real world? Dave already knew what he wanted to do: music. He figured the test out real fast, and made a mark on any thing that pointed to music, and avoided marking anything that pointed away. His test results were so far off the bell curve that testers were beside themselves to figure out why he was so different!
Dave and I started school togather in kindergarten and went all the way togather through high school! We were in junior high school togather in the band. Dave was real talented and could play more than 1 instrument. Dave got to be successful with his music talents and did well. Sorry he passed away as well as his wife Sue. We were good friends.
