Went to Alaska in in 1966 commercial fishing, Joined the us Army in november 1966 and then to Vietnam in 1967/68 Honorably discharged in 1969 went to about 2 1/2 years of college. Got married in 197 accepted a meat apprenticeship 1971 journeyman in 1975 meat cutter for 30 years Left washington/tacoma in 1985 after divorce for Palmer alaska. Ran a meat plant there. Dream come true for me to live in alaska 2 years in Palmer then to Bethel Alaska/1986 for 8 years ran 2 meat markets(retail)-loved Bush alaska- moved to Nome Alaska in 1994 and still live here. Work at a hospital as the environmental service director/head of housekeeping laundry security patient observers also am now mining gold on norton sound with a 8"suction dredge my second dream is now taking place. As a child it was to live in Alaska and to mine for gold.

I was a very average smuck with low self esteem, went on one date, hated school and my best friend was Bob Smith. Girls didn't like me because I was fat and not kool didn't have a car and I only remember one great looking gal who actually was nice to me. It was Cynthia Eyre.
